12 Food Additives to Avoid

The following food preservatives, colorings, and sweeteners are known or strongly suspected to cause cancer. Avoid eating foods that contain these additives:
sodium nitrate
sodium nitrite
blue #1
blue #2
blue #3
green #3
red #3
yellow #6
saccharine
acesulfame K
acesulfame potassium
potassium bromate
